A Successful Showcase at the Sydney Disability Expo

Tender Loving Care Disability Services had an incredible experience at the Sydney Disability Expo on August 2nd and 3rd. Held at Sydney Olympic Park, this event allowed us to connect with the community and demonstrate our commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities. Our team proudly showcased innovative services designed to support and uplift people with disabilities, and the positive energy was palpable.

Connecting with the Community

The welcoming spirit of Tender Loving Care was evident as Laura Cowell, CEO of Tender Loving Care, greeted visitors with enthusiasm.

“We’re here to make a difference, to have some fun, and to let everyone know about the amazing services we provide,” Laura expressed with passion. The expo provided an excellent platform for us to engage with attendees, share information, and discuss how our services can meet their unique needs.

Adding to the excitement was our lovable mascot, the Tender Loving ‘Care Bear,’ who brought smiles to faces and spread joy with every hug. The Care Bear symbolised our core values of warmth, compassion, and inclusivity, reminding everyone that Tender Loving Care is about creating a supportive community where everyone feels seen and valued.

Showcasing Our Wide Range of Services

During the expo, we highlighted the comprehensive range of services we offer to support people with disabilities. These include personalised care plans, in-home support, community access programs, allied health services, and cleaning services. Our team is dedicated to providing tailored support to ensure that each individual receives the care they need to thrive. We believe in empowering our participants to live fulfilling, independent lives, and our services are designed to make this possible.

Our Commitment to Giving Back

One of the key highlights of our participation in the expo was the introduction of TLC Impact, our foundation dedicated to charitable work and community support. The TLC Impact Foundation is focused on making a difference by supporting initiatives that empower people with disabilities. Through this foundation, we aim to provide resources, create opportunities, and support projects that improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

TLC Impact is not just about providing services; it’s about fostering a sense of community and giving back. Our foundation will work on various charitable initiatives, including supporting inclusive employment opportunities, funding community projects, and offering educational resources. By focusing on these areas, we hope to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities and contribute to a more inclusive society.

Join Us at Upcoming Events

The Sydney Disability Expo was just the beginning of our exciting journey with TLC Impact. We have more events planned, where we’ll continue to connect with the community and share our vision of inclusivity and support. Our next event will be the Skills Expo with the St George Business Chambers on August 29th at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium. The TLC Impact Cafe will be there, and we invite everyone to join us for a coffee and a chat about how we can work together to make a difference.
