The Nepean Disability Expo 2025, held at the Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre on April 4–5, brought together hundreds of service providers and thousands of attendees across Western Sydney. Under the theme “My Future, My Choice,” the event provided an inclusive and welcoming space for people with disability, families, carers and professionals to connect, learn and celebrate inclusion.
An Inclusive Showcase for Western Sydney
With more than 200 exhibitors, the expo covered a wide range of essential services, including NDIS support coordination, therapy, assistive technology, housing, employment, and healthcare. Every aspect of the event was designed to be accessible and inclusive, with Auslan interpreters, live captioning, quiet zones, and wheelchair-friendly facilities throughout the venue.
Real Stories, Real Impact: Billy’s Voice
Among the many highlights, Tender Loving Care Disability Services stood out for amplifying the voices of participants, including Billy, who featured in a heartfelt video interview filmed at the event.
Billy spoke openly about how support from Tender Loving Care has helped him become more confident and independent. “I’ve learned how to take care of myself — how to make my bed, how to cook, how to clean,” he shared. “I feel like I’m living my best life right now.”
The video, available to view here, captured not only Billy’s words but also his warmth and gratitude toward his support workers and the community around him. “I love the people that I live with. We do stuff together, we joke, we laugh — it’s really fun,” he said.
These moments reflected the core message that Tender Loving Care Disability Services brought to the expo: disability support is most powerful when it’s personal, consistent, and focused on building everyday life skills and confidence.
Genuine Connections and Support in Action
The team from Tender Loving Care Disability Services spent both days engaging with families, support coordinators, and sector professionals. Their focus was on building real conversations, answering questions, and showcasing how personalised support can transform everyday life for people with disability.
Through stories like Billy’s, Tender Loving Care reminded the community that quality support is about more than just services. It’s about connection, consistency and care. The team’s presence at the expo was a reflection of their ongoing commitment to empowering individuals to live as independently and confidently as possible.

Performances, Conversations and Community Spirit
Attendees also enjoyed inspiring stage performances, including a powerful set from Mick on Wheels, this year’s Expo Ambassador. His story and music reminded the crowd of the strength that comes from resilience, expression and lived experience.
Moving the Disability Sector Forward
The Nepean Disability Expo 2025 wasn’t just about services. It was about connection. From heartfelt interviews like Billy’s to conversations sparked at exhibitor booths, the expo left a lasting impact on all who attended.
